Rebuilding the Foundations of American Growth

On February, 23, 2010, Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini spoke at The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. on the importance of rebuilding the foundations of American growth based on investment in innovation and in developing and engaging new talent. Moderated by Darrell M. West, Vice President of Governance Studies at Brookings, the forum is entitled: Rebuilding the Foundations of American Growth.

That afternoon, Paul Otellini and Walter Isaacson, President and CEO of The Aspen Institute, led a luncheon discussion at The Aspen Institute on the need to create a culture of investment in the United States. The conversation focused specifically on the role American businesses can play in partnering with the government to promote education, innovation and create new business opportunities to maintain a globally competitive economy.
